via Paul Schreiber of MOTM on AH:
"Here are 4 "identical" demos of the MOTM-520 Cloud Generator hardware. The difference is the waveform used. In all cases the audio is unfiltered and mono. The MP3 encoding is 64K, so the overall dynamic range/brightness is somewhat compressed. But you will get the general idea.
Sounds are from turning the front panel controls (Pitch, Spread, Chaos).

''Let me know what you think!''
ReplyDeleteLol,i think i WANT one..!
Why would anyone in this day and age record 64k mp3's.
ReplyDeleteI think it sounds great. I can see myself making massive sounds with this, as well as string ensemble type sounds. It would be killer if it did through zero FM!!!
ReplyDeleteDF:
ReplyDeleteA 64k mono mp3 is "equivalent" in quality to 128k stereo. Not great quality, but fine for the purposes.
Yes, I'll have one please.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, the mono concept makes good sense.
ReplyDeletethx
Paul reports that the module will be released next year sometime. It's been delayed for a very long time already, though.
ReplyDeleteWill this be available in frac format as well?
ReplyDeleteHoly Moly! This module was announced 5 years ago. For a while it looked like only fantasy. When Paul restructured I feared this one never coming to see the light of day the most. Such a great concept for a module. The wait continues, but I am more sure than ever I need at least one of these bad boys!
ReplyDeleteWow. Sounds Awesome. I'd LOVE to see this in Modcan A ! Bruce ?
