To reduce spam, comments for posts older than one week are not displayed until approved, usually same day. Do not insult people. For items for sale, do not ask if it is still available. Check the auction link and search for the item. Auctions are from various sellers and expire over time. Posts remain for the pics and historical purposes. This site is meant to be a daily snapshot of some of what was out there in the world of synths.

wtf is wrong with vintage prices these days?
ReplyDeleteso they are not that rare after all...
ReplyDeleteI normally don't complain about the prices on analogs as it is a free market and all that. And if enough people are willing to pay those prices so be it.And no,i don't think it's unfair only rich people can affors this stuff. It's the nature of the game.
ReplyDeleteBut with that said 6000$ for an analog mono is a bit steep IMO. Even for a really good one.
Eeyeah. Steeper than the Cliffs of Insanity...
ReplyDelete/"inconceivable!"
So that it's rare it's worth that much?
ReplyDeleteOnly special thing about it is the filter.
For the rest it's just like a pro one.
I can buy one right now for 2200 euro!
If the ridiculous price wasn't enough he will try to charge you extra for using Paypal.
ReplyDeletei almost picked up a synton modular at the guitar center (3 racks, 2 grand USD) on consignment. wonder if i should have and then put it to the bay.
ReplyDeleteYeah, was considering buying a medium sized Buchla 200 system I saw at a guitar center for $1500. Should of bought it and put it to the 'bay as well...
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, bummer.
And this was only last month...
The older Synton modular are mostly Curtis based modulars. Not as exciting as the Fenix witch goes for crazy prices to.
