Ok, first let me say that it's really really cool. However...the only drawback is that you can only do an effect after you take your hand away from the strings. Maybe it would be more convenient to put the airFX on the floor and sit down on a chair and wave your foot in front of it? That way both hands are free. Just a though.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a guitarist, so maybe this is not a good suggestion. *shrugs*
omg.. I just found this followup..

yes october71 that is why wah pedals are pedals this guy kind of uninvented it. still cool though.
ReplyDeleteMan, I had one of these way back. I used to take a cassette tape machine and play audiotapes through the same aleses unit. stuff like old sci-fi radio serials an such. lotsa fun! I also used an old Realistic weather radio,(Kinda sad they replaced the old robo voice with a new female voice!) and an old mores code machine!
ReplyDeletewow - sounds cool - imAGINE what Jimi Hendrix would have done with this kinda tools ? Somehow when I look back to the times of the late 60's early 70's we all had not this kinda tools - a normal amplifier costed the hell of a money ...my first synth was almost 6,000 Deutsch Mark at this time - I guess it was a JUPITER 6 (bought 82) or similar - compared with nowadays machines this was just like a better organ with some sounds .....
ReplyDeleteyeah, but he's already got the neck pickup removed for the sustaniac. (kidding, but it would be a good idea). The real fun is the kaos pad vs air fx video mashup you can get going if you start both at the same time. Too bad they both don't use dueling banjos in their demos.
