12/10-19/25 Metasonix D-2000 + Make Noise Maths + Roland SH-101 + Gieskes Starving Binary + (…)
video upload by Cfpp0
"12/10-19/25 Metasonix D-2000 + Make Noise Maths + Roland SH-101 + Gieskes Starving Binary + Alesis MIDIVERB II + Peavey 1310 + Yamaha EM-100 + DBX 119 + ElectroComp EML 200
This was a test from earlier this month of a rack we installed above the Metasonix D-2000. There are two Make Noise Maths and a Gieskes Starving Binary triggering the D-2000. The D-2000 is heard as is, but it is also heard through the DBX 119, which gates the signal, and also gates a drone from the ElectroComp EML 200, which is fed through the DBX 119 at the same time. The Roland SH-101 is played manually, through a Peavey 1310 delay into a Yamaha EM-100 mixer, with the preamps cranked up and the internal spring reverb on. Everything has some Alesis MIDIVERB II."

12/17/25 Zerosum Inertia ZI54 + Trogotronic 676 + RYK 185 (System 100m) + Alesis MIDIVERB II
video upload by Cfpp0
"A little montage of three horrendous fanfares while testing power supplies. The Monorocket Mission6 case has been emptied and the Zerosum Inertia ZI54 and Metasonix RKP have been moved to the racks, where the Moog Subharmonicon used to be installed. We almost sold the amazing Trogotronic 676 and two 11 VCA controllers, but they’re staying. Those, plus a Zerosum Inertia 6AS6 Signal Combiner, have been added to the same rack, as they all sound great with the Roland System 100m. There is also a Doepfer Quantizer, mainly for the Roland 182 sequencer we got recently. The reverb is from the MIDIVERB II."

"12/14/25 Roland SVC-350 Vocoder (for sale) & SH-101 + Shure SM58 + Peavey 1300 & DDL-3 + Alesis MIDIVERB II
'Hello, buy my vocoder—now, now, now! Please.'
Those are the lyrics. We are listing the SVC-350 Vocoder and the SPV-355 pitch to voltage synthesizer in this video on reverb.com at Christopher’s Boutique 489."

"This listing is for two rare rack units by Roland that will let you turn your voice into robots, aliens, or just plain old voltages: the SVC-350 Vocoder and the SPV-355 Pitch to Voltage Synthesizer. The video in the photos section of this listing is of the actual unit.
The SPV-355 allows you to take audio and convert it into pitch voltages, envelopes, and gates to use on other equipment. It’s also a nice two-VCO synthesizer itself, with filter and envelope controls.
The SVC-350 is a coveted Vocoder, allowing you to connect synthesizers, drum machines, guitars and, of course, a microphone, and get either a fully wet vocoded version or a blend of the dry and wet.
Both work well, but both are old. This means you need to use them regularly or they can develop a little bit of scratch when turning the knobs.
You are the robots."

Alesis A6 Andromeda 61-Key Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer SN (21)A60500329 w/ New Blue Display
Note: links to listings are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this Reverb listing
"The Alesis Andromeda is legendary. The first (and unfortunately, last) analog synth from Alesis sounds incredible and has a deep and extensive voice architecture. This unit has been serviced, all pots, wheels, aftertouch, and ribbon pass the diagnostics. A new blue display has been installed. There are some scratches and wear marks on the case, but nothing egregious."

11/30/25 Metasonix D-2000 + MFB SEQ-1 + Roland SPH-323 + Peavey 1300 + Alesis MIDIVERB II
video upload by Cfpp0
"11/30/25 Metasonix D-2000 + MFB SEQ-1 + Roland SPH-323 + Peavey 1300 + Alesis MIDIVERB II
ALM Pamela’s New Workout clocks the MFB SEQ-1, which is triggering the Metasonix D-2000. The D-2000 mix output runs through the Roland SPH-323 phase shifter into the Peavey 1300 delay, in a double mode with heavy feedback. That signal runs to the Mackie Onyx 1640 mixer, where a reversed reverb from the Alesis MIDIVERB II is applied."

11/12/25 Roland (RYK) System 100m & RE-301 + Peavey 1300 + Alesis MIDIVERB II + Paia 6740 + CXM 1978
video upload by Cfpp0
"The left RYK Modular 185 sequencer is gating the right RYK 185. The right RYK 185 CV output controls the pitch of the left Roland 110 VCO and modulates the right 110 VCA. The 140 lower envelope controls the left 110 VCA. The upper 140 envelope controls the right 110 VCA. The left RYK 185 gate output is modulating the 140 LFO, and that LFO is modulating the left 110 filter and the right 110 VCO slightly. The 150 LFO is modulating the right 110 filter and the left 110 VCA. The left 110 audio output goes to the Roland RE-301 for tape echo, with the intensity set at the threshold of feeding back, and that signal is panned left on the Mackie Onyx 1640, with spring reverb from the Paia 6740, stereo reverb from the Alesis MIDIVERB II (preset 27), and a larger stereo reverb blended on the CXM 1978. The right 110 audio output goes to the Peavey 1300 delay and is panned center on the Mackie, with the same three reverbs."

80s YAMAHA Rhythm Machine RX17 & Kasane Teto sampled OP-1 field | Resolve 2025-11-11 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"This piece was created using the @teenageengineering OP-1 field, @NordKeyboards Nord Lead, @YamahaSynthsOfficial RX17, MU15, and MOTIF-RACK ES. It combines rhythm machine beats, melodies made from sampled vocals of 重音テト Kasane Teto SV, and live bass performance.
On the OP-1 field, the sampler contains Kasane Teto’s voice, which is used to create melodic phrases. At certain points, looping is applied through the NTS-3, and the signal is processed with the @ChaseBlissAudio MOOD MKII.
The RX17 rhythm machine is recorded with an ALESIS 3630 compressor applied.
On the MU15, synth sounds are performed using its built-in keyboard, with reverb added via the blueSky.
The Nord Lead plays melodic parts in the middle section of the piece, processed through the @gfisys Specular Tempus for delay.
The bass is recorded through a SANSAMP Bass Driver DI, routed directly into the audio interface for a clean yet warm tone."

"This is a heavily modified and circuit bent Alesis HR 16. The basic idea is that you can change the eproms and then mangle the sounds into oblivion by way of the knobs and switches which create all sorts of unpredictable and fairly brutal noises. The result can be anything from utter industrial magic to unusable garbage. Comes with a number of eproms incl. Korg, Linn DMX, Roland The machine is very unstable. Sometimes it works sometimes it just doesn’t. I have no idea how to make it more stable and when it comes on and produces sound, it’s absolutely random and unpredictable. The best way to think about this is as a sample source in that you have a tape running all the time and then pick and choose the best noises that come out of it. The great thing is that you would never ever come up with these sounds if you were to program them in a targeted and controlled manner. But on the other hand, it’s of course frustrating when it doesn’t come on at all. The starting bid is set accordingly. The buyer may wish to have a technician take a look at it."
