via this auction. Interesting choice of knobs.

  1. he mentioned minor scratches on the wood but nothing about the oven/air conditioner/50s radio knobs. what does it take to loose that many knobs? was he playing raquette ball with it?

maybe he was using it for a doorstop and someone yanked the door shut anyway.

  4. The auctions says:

I have also added two custom knobs for the filter cut off and effect selector. The larger nob on the filter cut off gives you finer control over the filter.

  5. he should still have the originals then. i look at the toys on ebay too. if you're missing original parts there is a substantial drop in price. the spare/replacement parts go for a decent percentage of that difference.

his revision of the battery sounds cool but the knobs could really work against him on ebay.

i'm not whining about his price, for something in that price range i'd always get a new one anyway. but that is the type of gear i'm apt to buy two of.

  6. I could see myself pickup one these in the next year or so. What is the "loose" you are referring to? Do these not stay in time well?

  7. no, just a reference to my retarded spelling. nothing "loose" about the revolution.

  8. Ok. I'm being thick. Nothing new there.

Obviously if you look at my question, my grammar skills are little lacking today as well.

  9. The battery mod is something that FR recommends in their manual... so I doubt that will affect the price... it will actually get him a normal price vs. one where this mod was not done. The knobs? Yeah, I agree...put the originals on.
