MMm...

Update: What this is will begin to be revealed tomorrow.

  1. It's the front panel for the new Minome, which fits in a standard quad electric box.

Or maybe the Hexori-OnOff, which also fits in a standard quad electric box, BTW.

  3. Hrm. If the small holes are 1/8th inch, then the larger must be about 3/8ths, which is just the right size for a 1/4" socket.

  4. I think I still want 24 of these .. maybe 23 .. no, wait, definitely 24.

  5. It's the forthcoming Metasonix 'Hannibal Lecter' Rectum-muncher. No actual sound producing circuitry but can generate amazing ear-splitting screams from fiddly-fingered cretins who poke around and ask , '...and what does this knob do?'.

  9. That's the new plate reverb. The holes allow air to pass so it can reverb higher frequencies.

  10. It's a proto MOTM something, on sale now, ships in 2009, or maybe 2011, no wait, 2013, ah hell who knows...

  11. Finally with this latest firmware version they've addressed complaints about it not being punchy enough.

    Too little, too late, IMO.

  13. I'll ask her if she still needs it. If not, I'll put it on eBay and one of you can be the first one on the block.

  29. Now that everything has been "revealed", what is this particular module? Thought it was going to be a sequencer at first with the 16 holes and all, but I do not see a sequencer on the MMM site. ???

    ReplyDelete
  30. That's the standard face plat that all modules share. The graphics just cover up the holes if they are not being used. If you are a DIYer you can use the holes to your advantage by adding and or moving things around. Of course you don't need to. There is no sequencer in the current list of modules however this is a MIDI interface and of course CV if you want to use an external sequencer.
