  1. That shows that the AN1X/DX200/PGL engine is prob one of the best most original VA's ever - along with the Nord Lead 1, JP-8000 and Propecy.

  2. Not to split hairs, but the AN200 and AN1x are VAs, the DX200 is FM.

But anyway, as an AN200 owner, I totally agree: The AN200 is an excellent VA. People are starting to become savvy to them, so the price is starting to go up on them as well.

  3. Oh, if anyone wants to hear three *clear* demos of the DX200, just go straight to the horse's mouth:

  4. I've always wanted one of these. The AN200 I think I live without since AN1X is great enough, the DX200 well just listen to that even if it is a poor quality demo. You've got to be impressed. Is that ping pong sequencing its doing too?

  5. Not exactly ping-pong sequencing, Zamise. You can reverse the pattern at any point (or speed it up and slow it down) and record that into the pattern, which is pretty cool. The AN200 does it too.

Unfortunately, the sequencer is a little bit of a chore to use and it only limited to 16 steps. But, you can still do quite a bit with it, or use it as a tone module and sequence it from something else.

  6. Man, I really need to get a new AC adapter for mine. I haven't played with it in a long time.
