Although Bob Moog was involved in this one, IIRC it used Curtis chips, so don't expect a modernized Mini from it.
ReplyDeleteAside from that and whether that makes it more attractive to your or less, it's an interesting synth.
It's very close to the Synton Syrinx design. But at that time Moog and Synton had a very good relation together.
ReplyDeleteOne of my most saught after synths. I coulda had one in 1996 for $300 from Caruso Music. But i didn't know what it looked like, so i passed on it in favor of a Poly Six. Too bad i'll never pay the ridiculous prices these sell for now.
