    yes it often comes as a shock to the average 2007-dweller when they see how much great synth music and gear was made with an ashtray sitting on top of it.

    or in the case of Tristram Cary, a pipe tamper.

    He's like the ultimate synth pornographer.

    Back then, all you had to be was Greek, have a furry chest, lots of synths, and you'd get all the ladies.
