Yamaha cs50 CS-50

YouTube via LF0.
"bad sound, bad picture I know - it was shot on a mobile, better then nothing though right???? The Yamaha CS-50 was born before the CS-80, it is half a CS-80 without a ribbon controller. Although half the size it is 1/10th the price...of course one voice is out of tune."

  1. you are correct about the CS-50 chronology, but actually, the CS-50 is 1/4 of a CS-80, not 1/2... a CS-80 is 2 independent 8-voice synthesizers, each w/ their own OSC, FILTER, LFO, ENV & FX/CONTROL settings - it is like 2 CS-60's in one instrument. a CS-60 is an 8-voice synth. the CS-50 is only 4-voice & has no pitch ribbon.
