i guess that should be
ReplyDeletehttp://circuitbent.wikispaces.com/ :)
wikipsaces.com takes you to a domain spam site or whatever it is called...
nice sequencer by the way!
Thanks. I corrected it and made it a link.
ReplyDeleteThe 8 or 10 step sequencers are very easy to make with basically a 555 timer and a 4017 decade counter. BUT...I haven't figured out a way to make a 16-step sequencer by cascading two 4017s. If anyone knows how to do this, please enlighten me (and I'm sure a lot of other people would like to know as well!)
ReplyDeleteI had planned on putting a 16-note sequencer into one of my circuitbending projects, but I couldn't get over this stumbling block. I didn't want to have just 8 notes, so I abandoned the idea.
thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteas for 16 step sequencers, check out this link http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Bill_Bowden/page5.htm
which has a bunch of schematics, maybe one will be of use to you (i'm not so good with all that)
