Part 2 is SICK!!! WHERE THROUGH BEING COOL!!!
ReplyDeleteCracking track in EP2 - I'd forgotten about that one.
ReplyDeleteLeave it up to DEVO to perform on treadmills =o]
ReplyDeleteDevo is the greatest band in history. Period.
ReplyDeleteI saw Jesus in the mornin' by the burnin' bushhhh, I saw Jesus in the afternooooon toooo
ReplyDeleteOk, let's see....Roland Jup-8, Prophet 5, Moog source and a Minimoog customized bass, with a keyboard controlling two minimoogs.
ReplyDeleteDevo also had another (modified) minimoog which they used in conjunction with an EML polybox and SCI programmer.
I believe this footage is from the autumn of 1981 so Devo was definitely one of the first bands to use a Jup-8.
the dude to the left looks strange to me....like he's overacting a bit. i dont remember that dude.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it sounds real and some of it sounds like they're using backup tapes.
