Yamaha cs-10 Synthesizer
YouTube via bookm97. via Nusonica.
"I'm no musician (obviously)!! I picked up this synth at the local auction a couple years ago, for $50. I'm just getting around to playing with it now. I love the strange analog sounds you can get out of it.
On key doesn't work. I would appreciate some advice on how to fix it... perhaps someone has a repair manual or something for it. Thanks in advance :)"

Hey
ReplyDeleteis for horses.
ReplyDeletei have a cs-5 with a dead key!!! I'd love to know how to fix it as well...
ReplyDeleteOops
ReplyDeleteI had an actual comment!
my CS-5 did that too and i just put a piece of a 2mm thick rubber foot between the part of the key that hits the membrane and the membrane itself.
It's not pretty but it works and it takes 10 mins.
cool... so it's most likely just a contact issue and not an electrical one...that makes me feel a bit more confident to open her up.
ReplyDeleteMust stop having sex with it first to fix it.
