I can agree with Pac's above statement. Why would someone build a synth without a sequencer or an arpeggiator? turning knobs with both hands is fun !!!
ReplyDeleteI tried it out last week. When playing it by Midi, if you play legato style, it will slide up to the next note otherwise one at a time. Best off building sequences in a sequencer and programming the overlapping notes and octaving. Playing it live and tweaking is more like playting a regular bass monosynth. But, it has more features than a regular 303 like an LFO and squelch control. The sound was about as close to a 303 as any other clone, not so much, a bit more edgy and modular like.
ReplyDeleteToo much for a box. No sequencer is just a killer for most i'm sure. Get on the x0xb0x waiting list. Far better unit for 1/3 the price.
