"a scan from the original booklet of Mandozzis album 'Bach-Handel 300'. Do you know this record? Unfortunately it's not available at the moment. I bought it back in 1985 when it came out."
If anyone knows more, feel free to comment.

I've got the LP with the booklet. It seems that there was a CD version as well.
ReplyDeleteI haven't listened to it in ages, so I'll have to play it again. It's not one of my favorite "switched on" records. At least one track made me go "ARRGGH!".
Keyboard Mag (US) had a promotion and I got one for free or the price of postage or something. They had an article too. Yes it was also out on CD but at the time, 1985, I hadn't yet bought a CD player. It more a curiosity. What does all PPG system baroque music sound like? Well it definitely sounds sequenced and rather than a proper performance. It has a lot of medium bit metallic sheen but seemed more like the goal was more realizing and learning for the synthesist rather than crafting a really articulate and expressive electronic realization.
