Miracle Piano Teach System

One last one via Andre.

Anyone remember these? I do. Never played one though. I wonder what the "Synthesizer" sounded like.

  1. Ah yes, the Miracle. I still have one of these. The synth sound is a little on the cheesy side, I'm afraid. For its time and price, it's not a bad machine though.
I was on the design team for this project (headed by Dyno-My_Piano guy Chuck Monte). I did a large part of the hardware design, which is based around an SGS J004 wavetable sound chip with an 8051 CPU and a couple of custom gate array ASICs.

  2. I still have one too. The synth sound is strange. It sounds more like a strange sitar than any kind of "synth" sound. The vibraphone sound is EXCELLENt though. I still use it every once in a while as a MIDI controller.
