Roland GR-100

images via this auction.

"the GR100 is one of the rarest and least known of the Roland GR synths, it's the predecessor to the GR-300."

  1. i have one of these. Its not a synth per say. its more of a fancy effects box that works off of the GR Hex pickup from the time. Similar to how there are Boss pedals that run off the GK pickup.

It has a bunch of effects/filtering things and can provide with some nice HEX distortion/vibrato. Supposably back in the day it could be synced somehow to the GR 300.

Too my recollection both the 300 and 100 came out at the SAME time.

When I used these live I used to use the GR300 with and Ibanez 2010 controller and my GR strat style guitar with the 100 for songs that didn't need synth.
