  1. Pretty good condition but no Midi or even a DCB port. Uh Uh!

  3. 1. It's make an offer - so, it may sell for less

    2. It's not as shocking when you consider how cheap US Dollar is nowdays. 6499 = 3250 UK P... or about 4200 Euro. US buyers will definitely be at disadvantage.

    3. Considering TB303 can be seen selling for around $2500... well, pound for pound, JP-8 is a much better value (considering it weighs about 100x 303 weight)

@Stepwriterun - you should see some of the $250,000 les pauls from the 60's. Guitar folk are definitely behind times...

  4. Anybody living in the EU would have to also pay VAT on top of that price if importing it from the states, which varies from country to country (eg 16% in Germany, 21% in Ireland, 17.5% in the UK). It's still not a shocking price, but a pretty high one. That said, it's in perfect condition and a classic synth whose price will only ever go up.

  6. You do realize that vintagesynths isn't current and neither is prepal.com, right? There's only one true source for proper prices it seems and that's at spheremusic.com - at least that's what I've gathered in the past. ;)

  7. ^^^^ Well, at spheremusic, it lists Roland Jupiter 8 in "very good" condition being auctioned off for rather quite reasonable.... 16 quid back in 2003.

Someone got away with a steal of the century, imho....

BTW, vintagesynth is not only outdated on prices, it's also outdated on synths. There's not even a mention of Virus Ti. That's why I only visit the forums there. Everything else pretty useles, IMHO.
