Wow! He was almost 8000 years old!
ReplyDeleteHaha =o] Longest living human EVAR! We shared the same birthday, July 20th =o]
ReplyDeleteWell, it's been tough lately, Henri Chopin, and now Mort. I gotta say the ataraxia, and cosmic sounds lps, along with Lucifer's black mass are seriously killer psych synth lps. Go dig em up if you haven't heard them.
ReplyDeleteFarewell, Mort.
He also had the distinction of having that same photo on the slipcase of the hardcover first edition of Analog Days...
ReplyDeleteWell you know the whole synthesizer and future thing... post updated.
ReplyDeleteBetter he died than open up a gate to an occult misty dimension where spiders come out and kill children.
ReplyDeleteThe Methodist Church asked me to remove "Black Mass" from the premises. Talk about a stamp of approval!
ReplyDeleteThat record still creeps me out.
Thanks Mort!
