Havent' heard that either, but I wonder how that makes a box sound "punchier."
ReplyDeleteThe J60 uses the roland IR3R01 envelope chip. (same as Jupiter8) while the J106 uses software generated envelopes. Really they are very different synths even though they are nearly identical in architecture.
ReplyDeleteThe do sound noticeable different as well. I'm still trying to figure out if the JX10 and JX-8P are as noticeably different.
