man, I used to have one of those, and it was great. PXL, that is. now all I have is a Jupiter-8, which makes me happy too, but what I really want is another PXL.
ReplyDeleteI was trying to find my DV camera and gave up and used the PXL. Its the audio properties of the LFO-2 mod that are important anyway. I modified the PXL so that I can run composite video out. I also built a signal amplifier which I put inside of it which you can see here:

Still, it requires an enormous amount of light if you want to shoot anything indoors.
I remember when this mod was first discussed on AH around 94 or 95. I can't believe I took this long to implement it. It is really worth doing if you have a Jupiter-6.
