Speaking of the VP-330, anyone ever directly A/B'd one with the newer VP-550's? Just wondering if the 550 can pull off that awesome, dry electrical, in-your-face vocoder sound the 330 can do, or if it ends up sounding like hollow VA.
ReplyDeleteI've got one of each on the same keyboard stand. It's apples & digital oranges. The 550 has a couple "mechanical" vocodery presets, but they sound more like laptop effects.
