Everyone has to start somewhere. I had zero feedback at one time. :) I actaully have very little feedback now as I rarely buy or sell on Ebay. What adds to this one is the image previously used in another auction by another seller.

I called customer service and it is no longer listed. Do not deal with this seller.
ReplyDeleteas nice as it is to archive the ebay photos I think perhaps it gives scammers a pretty good stockpile of images to use.
ReplyDeleteI don't think taking the archives down would make a difference. You have Google images and you have Ebay. If you are a scammer it's easy enough to create your own stockpile. The good that came out of this post is that someone read it and took care of it on the Ebay side protecting others. If people think it's a good idea I could create an Ebay Scams section on the forums or people could post scams they id in the for sale section. Only thing is there are scammers out there that will say something is a scam to try and keep the price down, so you'd have to watch out for that, but... if enough people read and participate in the forum, my guess is these scammers would be called out as well.
