...radio shack knobs.
ReplyDeleteUGLY knobs!
ReplyDeletethe knobs are prone to being lost every time you travel with it. Mine now travels in a bubble wrap bag.
ReplyDeleteSome small pieces of tape on the shafts works wonders with those Desktop Evolver knobs. They stay nice and snug.
ReplyDeleteThing is, I can understand why they are loose -- if you've ever had to take an Evolver apart you have to remove the knobs to get the main board free.
Last I checked if you politely email Dave Smith Instruments they will send you a a knob or two for free if you end up losing one.
Plumbers tape works better than duct tape. It's also good for fixing loose tuning pegs on your guitar.
ReplyDeleteI use a tiny dollop of clear bath tub caulk.
ReplyDeleteAlso good for loose fitting slider knobs.
"A little dab'll do ya."
yes, if your get in touch with DSI they'll sell you replacements for a reasonable price. Korg or Roland will charge you $3.75 per knob but those guys will send you a set cheap...just a quick phone call.
