My last hardware instrument is a Roland XP-30, which is the JV1080 engine with the presets of the JV2080 and the addition of three SR-JV80 expansion boards (Orchestral, Session, and Techno). I kept it because of the JV sounds - irreplaceable. Nothing quite sounds like a Roland JV/XP, except other Roland synths.
ReplyDeleteSadly, my playing technique is not as refined as the Keyboard Wizard, basically topping out at what he played for the Raverborg preset.
I'm told Vince Clark also has no chops, so I have hope for the future.
