What, nobody wants this? This is the 4th time I've seen it up for $7500 with no bidders. Maybe it's the weird cabinet, if those modules were in 4 racks they'd fetch 10K easily.
ReplyDeletethe person should sell the boats seperately
ReplyDeleteMaybe nobody wants to buy from wavstudios.
ReplyDeletethe cabinet is cool. wavstudios is not.
ReplyDeleteNot the panel config I'd like.

ReplyDeleteWhy does Matrix keep advertising this guy? You can smell the stink coming off of his ALL CAPS AUCTIONS a mile away...
Nuke, if you had 1297 feedback you'd prolly have something go wrong eventually...
ReplyDeleteI bought a Quad Filterbank from wavestudios no problem. I even found his phone number and street address pretty easy... 99% of eBay problems are due to poor communication and people need to remember that not everyone lives in front of their computer screen pressing refresh on their mail program.
I have bought & sold from Mr. Wavstudios through Ebay. All transactions were hassle-free.
ReplyDeleteyeah always people giving wavstudios hate here. this system looks like a nice deal to me.
ReplyDeleteyou wouldn't want to be the 1 person for whom something goes wrong, whether it's miscommunication or misrepresentation. you are rolling the dice with this guy. just be careful.
ReplyDeleteI've sold to wavstudios before...great communication, nice guy.
ReplyDeleteHis sales are a tad high priced, but most of his stuff is rare-ish so I don't really see much of a problem.
That is a sweet Serge though! I think I'm finally going to add a TKB to mine. ^_^
what year is this from?
ReplyDeleteBased on the font panels that Serge looks pretty recent and that price is pretty great considering what you get. If I had that kind of cash lying around it would be mine.
ReplyDeleteI got scammed on eBay once over a MiniMoog. Thats when I learned that PayPal sucks. They can only recover money that is currently in someone's PayPal account. Good thing I always pay for eBay transactions with a credit card. Assuming you're good to your credit card company you can just call them up, explain the situation, they'll refund your money, and then track down the seller. In the end, not that big of a deal.
$750 on the Bay...no probbbb.
ReplyDelete$7500 on the Bay better be an in person transaction. From Analogue Haven a different story though.
He had a Harvey 808 nobody wanted for a while over $4000, I saw the price going down and down. Serously though, $4k for an 808, You can have 1 808 for 1/4 of the price.
...Everyones gotta make a livin!
Only the top panel in the system was made in the last 20 years and it's at least 8 years old. The other panels are all foil over top of prepunched aluminum panels, ie: old school. I personally wouldn't pay more than $1200 for any pre-STS panels unless I knew the seller well and knew the state of the system.
ReplyDeleteyes and when I asked wavstudios what year these were from he did not really know, just stated "they are more recent", so it's hard to buy something this high end without plenty of details
