"i've been reading you everyday for such a long time so i thought it would be nice to give something back! please check out this 3-part (approx 22 minutes) documentary about the Acid Symphony including ten tb-303s and one tr-808. it all took place at a festival in finland last summer."

Very cool performance they captured.
ReplyDeleteIt should be noted that DJ Esp Woody McBride also had this up and running with 10 people on 303s and a master TR-808 controlling the beat and tempo for all the sync'd machines. Woody conducted the 30 minute performance and worked the mixer with everyone's signals running together. It was at the Minneapolis/St. Paul rave called "Elektrik Disko" in November 1996. I don't think it was recorded, but it was ridiculous. We were kind of an intermission between Laurent Garnier and Derrick Carter that night.
It was under the name "The Psenic 303 Symphony"
