Anyone know what this is capable of? Any synth inside?

Wow, that thing looks kickass. Sure wish there was a close-up. $300 seems pretty reasonable... assuming it works.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it has circuitry from the Baldwin Spectra-Synth in it? Word: I played a Spectra-Synth once a long time ago, and I thought it was garbage.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone remember when they used to have piano/organ stores at shopping malls?
ReplyDeleteA greasy salesman dude would be sitting in the front of the store playing Lawrence Welk-type bossa nova music on something like this to entice you into the store so he could give his spiel on 'the perfect home organ solution'.
This organ is part of the MCO series, produced in the 1980s (not the 1970s).
ReplyDeleteThese were highly advanced digitally generated and digitally controlled instruments. Do not think for a minute that the technology inside of this is somehow antiquated nor obsete.. Most organ repair technicians eve today in 2022 would have a very challenging time trying to understand and repair these.
