Buchla 200e Demo

click here for the demo via Nicholas Kent. This one is pretty different from most you have probably heard.

  1. This is very atypical for a Buchla. It sounds almost east-coast. I like it.

  3. It's the start of the third movement (Fall or Autumn) of Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons, composed in 1723. I wouldn't expect a Buchla in a "switched-on classical" performance, but why not?

Patrick Gleeson did a nice version of the whole work on the Synclavier.

  4. I should have checked the details. It is the 2nd movement, but I think that's Spring, not Fall.
