Really nice setup.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't realized how huge the Octopus is until I saw it next to the 200e.
HELL YEAH!
ReplyDeleteAnd I was laughing here to myself because the picture made the 200e suddenly seem a lot smaller in my mind. Fun rig!!
ReplyDeleteThe 200e takes up roughly the same space as a Minimoog.
ReplyDeletewhich do you have more fun with? wait...i see cross patching?
ReplyDeleteis the 259e not part of the internal midi busing btw?
ReplyDelete259e is part of the internal bus, if the jumpers are set properly, but that system has 5 oscillators, so it might now be. Does that not answer your question?
ReplyDeleteThe 259e is part of the internal scheme. The 225e preset manager can address four 259es and four 261es.
ReplyDeleteThere are only four internal note busses from the MIDI section of the 225e though, so the 259e is going to respond to the same channel as one of the 261es in this system.
you are correct wavedeform.. the way we set it up is that the 259 receives on bus A along with the first 261.
