Richard Lainhart @ TRANZDUCER
YouTube via rlainhart. Via Richard Lainhart of O-Town Media:
"Friends: here's the link to a YouTube playlist of my 200e/Haken Continuum performance at Tranzducer on November 30, 2007. The original performance was continuous, but I had to edit it down to three sections to get around YouTube's 10-minute limit and some camera recording glitches. It's camera audio only, so not the best quality, but otherwise it's a reasonable document of the performance that night. I hope you enjoy it."

Oops, that's 2007, obviously - I'm afraid I can't tell anybody who won the presidential election.
ReplyDeleteUpdated. :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I can definitely see the advantage of the "finger envelopes" you get with the Haken Continuum.
ReplyDeleteWhat sort of things do you use the little black & white keyboard for?
What sort of things are you running on your laptop?
Chris
Thanks Chris! I usually use the MacBook as a strobe tuner and 4-channel recorder, occasionally as an effects processor, but in this case, I'm using the Evolution keyboard to control Moog Modular V, which I used for a few sounds in this set.
ReplyDeleteI now offer a new service: Doktorfuture's electronic music naming service.
ReplyDeleteFor free, I'll give this one a name:
"The Mighty Fartron"
It's got that sort of pressure build-up, and as bowels start to gyrate, and then you have that urge to run to evacuate, but it may be a false positive -- you just don't know. So you wait, but it still stirs. A second wave of false positives, and you think it may be gas, but you are in polite company, so it takes considerable skill to let it off, near the fern. At last, the bowels are zen again.
