  2. the deep 808 bass drum is really what seperates it from the 606..

    if this 606 can do the 808 kick then thats great otherwise making the 808 kick sound like a 606 and saying they sound the same is kinda dumb

  4. I like both machines. I get different results influenced even by their physical shape I think. Sold my old 808 some years ago, then worked with drumstation and the d16.pl Nepheton (which is nice if you have a capable DAW), finally I got a real 808 back now. Nothing beats the real deal ;-)
    I was looking at the Jomox 888 (nearly same price) but its not a match, different story...
