Crumar Spirit Party 1

YouTube via bigcitymusic

"Here are 4 Crumar Spirits that Big City Music owner, Roger Cordell, brought out of storage. We needed to test one for a professional baseball player who was buying it.

We decided, why not set up four Crumar Spirits at once since it isn't very often you get to see so many together in one place.

There, fixed. Nice to see these not doing a DAMN THING but sitting in storage for someone to charge way too much for. And WTF is a baseball player gonna do with it? I guess Analogue IS the fashion statement of the 2000s.

  2. Although in my heart I agree with that sentiment, I would be inclined to take a somewhat softer stance. After all, the guy bought them legally and is free to use, misuse, and even dispose of them in a landfill if he sees fit.

Having said that, four in storage? I can't really see the point. I'll write him a cheque today for $600.00 if he has one in good looking order and some cash flow problems!

Seconded! I gaurentee that baseball player is the ONLY person who is willing to pay the almost 3k he's asking for those Spirits! I've been searching for one for 12 years now. I'm pretty sure i can call my search off, as i'll never find one at an affordable price.

  6. Well that is the ticket to writing your own price on a "collectable" and getting it (with patience). Step 1: find something people likely want that is genuinely rare. Step 2: buy up every one that comes around for sale that is less than the price you think you want it to sell for. Ignore any one that sells for lots more than your target price. 3. Seeing those on sale only establish your price as the what it's really worth. 4. Sit back. Someone with money will come along if you are the only one selling them. The mistake here was to publicize there's a bunch stashed away. A bunch means they aren't getting the price they want and there is no rush to buy it before someone else does.
