RIP Albert Hofmann

A synthesist of other sorts. You can find a nice write-up here . Some claim his "gift" influenced the early Buchla and MOOG days. I'm sure it influenced more than a number of synth compositions.

  2. Hmmm, was this via Rick from Asheville?

If so, what was in the bag Mr Reed's guitarist forgot to bring from the hotel room? Perhaps some of Alberts famous work!!;)

  4. there is a definite synergy between synths and psychedelics. I can remember a specific episode under the influence, listening to high resonance through a very long delay bouncing through the universe.

    also: coil - time machines.

  6. Did you ever hear Rick Wakeman's two hour Moog solo? You can't handle that sh*t on strong acid, man.
