  1. Interesting, from NM?

Should also check out Zolar X (amazing classic band) and the now-defunct Servotron!

  3. Sad to say, there's something about these I-wanna-be-a-space-robot outfits that gets me. Devo did this much better, with a proper level of irony and subversive satire. This is just cutesy and annoying.

They're from Boston, and recently moved to Phoenix. Boston has plenty of underground clubs, but here's hardly anyplace to play in Phoenix for a band like this. They might regret moving.....

  5. I offered Elane some code advice once, she is pretty smart. She rejected it.

  6. wow, you people are HARSH! I'm almost 40 and lucky my knees work well enough to jump around a bit. sheesh.. well, I at least want to clear some facts regarding your comments.

    - our "I-wanna-be-a-space-robot outfits" were not planned. We just wore whatever we were feelin that day. The all-white was actually a coincidence. We've played hundreds of gigs since 1992 with non-space clothes. lol.

    - I moved to NYC for 4 years THEN moved to Phoenix so I could live with my brother and let my voice heal. It got fucked up after 9/11/01.

    - I don't work for NASA officially, but ZIA got commissioned by NASA Ames to do that video in the Arctic to promote humans going to Mars, and I did the photo journals on their arctic expeditions for 2 years. brrrrrr

    - Zamise - what "code advice" are you speaking of? I don't really use code for anything - not since my chaos controller broke.. please refresh me. I've been crazy busy with my new teaching job. I haven't had time to do anything fun like CODE. I don't recall "rejecting" anything. ??

anyway.. you folks should lighten up. I'm just doin my thing until my joints give up. It's hard work. I just spent a few years healing my voice and thousands of dollars fixing my bad back so I can dance around and it sucks to read this stuff..lol. I guess I shouldn't be sensitive.

Who put this blog up anyway? I'm not familiar with this site well enough to figure it out.. duh

    cheers,

  8. Thanks. I should just ignore any guy who goes onto a link called "synth babes" and then nit picks. I'm not even sure how I feel about being a "synth babe". According to internet tests, my brain is 80% male.
