Side by side - Minimoog and Prophet '08
"This is not a "Which Is The Best" comparison! I love both of these synths and obviously they aren't really comparable anyway.
So I am running the P8 in 'unison' mode with two OSCs only.
I made this video purely for anyone interested in exactly such a comparison."

Damn! The Prophet 08 sounds likes a VA next to the mini....can't tell if it's the volume difference though (prophet 08 is OBVIOUSLY set at a lower volume).
ReplyDeleteYeah, the VOLUME makes any comparison hard to make. The Minimoog is set much louder!! Not that it doesn't sound good, but that's cheating!
