Moog little phatty + cp-251 in Hi-Fi

YouTube via shaft9000
"Moog little phatty analog synthesizer being voltage-controlled by a Moogerfooger CP-251 voltage processor. This turns the already powerful LP into a semi-modular workhorse. Still less modulation power than a stock Voyager - but easily on par with a modded Odyssey or CS-15. I still need to add the Moogerfooger ring modulator.
The CP-251 is a collection of classic Moog Modular circuits that perform a number of CV functions such as : LFO (square & triangle), Sample & Hold, Noise, Attenuators (x2), 4-input mixer, 4-way multiple, squarewave trigger out & a Lag processor. It's a great value and yet many people (including LP owners) are confused by just what this thing is for. Here's a little taste.
Recorded direct into 1820m interface and post-processed w/ some Sonitus reverb

  1. Hey at around the 5:30 mark he really nails some key PacMan sounds. I was totally visualizing eating the ghosts and their little eyes racing back to the pen...

  2. While it's nice to see a proper demo of the CP-251, the constant video effects are incredibly distracting and annoying. It would have been more informative to focus the camera on the CP itself and show in real time the knobs and patches points being manipulated.
