Jarre sound from Oxygene Part 2

YouTube via grauoliv
"In an ambient circle session, I heard a sound I knew from Jarre's Oxygene album. And TOMABEMAN told me how to make it on an analog synthesizer. It has to be analog, because the filter settings make the filter self-osciallte. I'm not sure if virtual-analog synths or software can emulate this. GATTOBUS also uses this sound on his cover version on the classic Oxygene Part 2 track, also on a Little Phatty."

Most digital filters used in synths selfoscillate to. And the modulation is not magic on this sound. So most VA synths are able to do this too.
But of cause many digital synth have audible problems with audio frequency modulations not sounding like the real thing.
