Me playing New Order "Blue Monday"

YouTube via DX5.

"My own "Blue Monday" view. Sounds don't come up in the same order than original, I decided to play it in a free way.

I've made it in two hours (including searching sounds, assigning sounds to the Emax, making an easy backtrack, etc).
Recorded at the first take, so there are some mistakes as always.

Above: Roland JP8000 (Lead sequenced on pro tools).
Mid: Roland D10 (drum kit sounds)
Below: E-MU Emax.(Hook's bass and choir)"

  1. you have an emax sampler why not use the Kraftwerk sample choir from their "Ohm Sweet Ohm" track...thats where N.O got it from

  2. I can't believe someone is actually using a sound from the D10. I am impressed.

  3. Do you think you could record something ORIGINAL instead of covers? And if you're doing a cover - do it some dignity and either make it your own or make it EXACTLY like the original.

    Sheesh.

I don't post original stuff because that way I can see bored people like you asking for.

I play what I like, not what you like. Buy some keyboards and do it your way.
