  2. Actually, i'm not seeing any signs of it either. The only thing i see is the wear around the power jack. But that looks like the wear of time.

  3. Hm, maybe he's checking the underside of the unit. Like when you buy a combo meal at McDonalds and you notice that the underside of the bag is leaking grease.

  4. ive worked on several battery damaged 303s etc.. the dis-coloration around the DC input jack and all around the unit where the 2 halves meet.. also the battery sticker inside is chewed up from the liquid that poured out of the batteries.. I see battery damage in 303s, 909s, 606s etc all the time.

  5. Ah yes, i didn't notice the discoloration around meeting points of the 2 halves. I'm surprised the battery compartment isn't all discolored though. That's usually the first thing that gets mucked up.

  6. the battery sticker is wreck which is conistent with leagage also there is slight discolouration around the compartment door.. sees as tho the batteries leaked down towards the opposite side.. bet it was stored on its edge... I should post some pics of the last one i repaired.. it was bought in 83.. the owner hated it and put it in the closet.. was like new other then the battery damage and you can clearly see the flow pattern of the leakage.. it is just like this one.
