"Me (with slightly gormless look) recording synth parts at IR studio at Martello Street, Hackney in 1977. Behind me is one of my custom built modular synths and a custom step sequencer ( a Roland System 104 sequencer is on top of it, behind my elbow), my hand is on the controls of a Roland SH-5 synth and in front of me is a Roland SH-2 synth.
This was taken during the Adrenalin/Distant Dreams recording sessions. Polaroid photo by Cosey."

  4. I seriously doubt this pic dates from 1977, especially seeing as the Roland SH-1 wasn't released until the autumn of 1978.

    I rather think it dates from late
    '78 or '79 at the earliest.
