I love my Crumar DS-2, but I would never, ever, ever shell out $2k for one (plus international shipping). Sure, its got some unique features and a lovely warm sound. Its also 70 lbs. since its basically built into a flight case. Also, compared to modern analog synths, this old boy is pretty feature-poor.
ReplyDeleteThe synth picture in the auction looks like its in top condition, but these things notoriously age poorly, as I can personally attest. Speaking of which, could anyone recommend a good synth repair tech in Oregon?
