    I think it's a telephone. He's calling his mom to come pick him up from the club. He's scared though. He knows he did such a horrible job at making music for the patrons that his mother will most certainly be upset. It looks like little Guru Josh is in for a spanking, a few weeks of being grounded, and having his telephone privileges cut off. His mom should also make him practice those awesome keyboard skills he's got.
