Even for 1997 that's a little optimistic on price. 1987, though, he oculd have had his choice of several Moogs for that price.
ReplyDeleteAround that time I bought perfectly working Mini Moog in excellent cosmetic condition with a custom flight case for $300. So it seems reasonable that someone could have found a slightly worn unit without a case for $200.
ReplyDeletei too bought my minimoog around that time for $300AUD and was given a micromoog because someone couldnt sell it...
ReplyDeletethe rising of prices always suprises me but i suppose things are only worth what someone is prepared to pay for...
dont get me wrong i love my synths but with the prices these days, it seems cheaper to build one yourself, or even buy a new one...
