lovely sounds
ReplyDeleteactually any chance you could advise what patching you did in the 200e. minus the ring mod...Id love to see if I can get these sounds
ReplyDeleteReally quite amazing. Morton Subotnick's Silver Apples and Wild Bull were done using the Buchla and they are to my ears the richest sounding and most rewarding electronic music. I really love your patch and that chiming ring mod.
ReplyDeleteThank you andrew. i will get the patch together for you in a bit , ghostdog , however , the ring modulator is the key to this patch .... more to come
ReplyDeleteHow large is a 20 panel 200e system. It's hard for me to get a good idea from all the pictures and video. I'm saving to buy a Buchla system and this has been tugging at my curiosity for a while. How wide is it relative to something like an MS-20 or a 4 octave midi keyboard?
ReplyDeleteI heard someone say it was about as big as a Moog Voyager but I don't have one of those so it doesn't make for a good comparison.
There isn't a 20 space cabinet. The 18 space cabinet is 27" wide, 19" deep, and about 15" tall when unfolded (but without the gooseneck lamps installed)
ReplyDeleteMy mistake. I realised that after I made this comment but then forgot about the comment.
ReplyDeletethanks for the measurements.
