Classic sound or Techno sound?

  1. Gwaaaa! The sh201 sounds like such a piece of garbage (I've played with one in person as well). Why roland, why?

  2. Well, he has an MC-505 next to it so SOUND is obviously not one of his requirements when purchasing synths.

  3. Sounds to me like an eletist thing to say. mc-505 has a great sound on just about any system you can throw at it. Maybe just not the person using it can be that great tho. Don't know much about the SH201s sound though, can't say I've played with one, but have touched one or two of them and I didn't really want to hear how it sounded after that even tho they look pretty dang cool.
