I'm sure they are great fun, but could someone...ANYONE, please post a video of a synthi or vcs-1 doing something musical? I realize they are great noise boxes, but so is anything I feed into my $700 Sherman. These fetch some serious cash. Surely someone uses them for music! Anyone?

ReplyDeleteThey're more inspirational machines than super linear CV tracking boxes, but they can do that too, but the tone achieved is not exactly what their charm is about.

ReplyDeleteSooooooooooooooo true. Do I really need to see someone doing another version of "Oxygene" on whatever synth they own. THIS IS STILL MUSIC!!! Just because it is not verse/chorus/verse/solo doesn't mean it does not have musical value!
