Update via unfrostedpoptart in the comments: "As to Reed's question, the first units were called "Polymoog Keyboard". Moog later came out with the preset model and stole the name Keyboard for it and renamed the existing model the Polymoog Synthesizer."

ReplyDeleteI just bought this! It's in excellent shape cosmetically and about 90% functional. I'll probably start by replacing the power supply caps and go from there.
ReplyDeleteI haven't owned a Polymoog since about 1987 (picked up cheap at a mall organ store!), so this should be fun.
