  2. I'd (almost) die to see a decent video demonstrating the electronium, or even a small subset of it's sounds.

    The version of the Electronium that Mothersbaugh owns (which was originally made for Motown), is currently not operational. So a new demonstration is not possible. However, on the CD that I compiled for the toy set, I included a previously unreleased recording of Raymond Scott himself demonstrating his Electroniuim, so you might want to check that out.
