The Moog Minimoog Sawtooth-Triangular Waveform

"Viewers of my Minimoog video are constantly trying to decipher what I'm talking about when I describe what at that time was a mystery waveform. It wasn't long after I posted the Minimoog video that I looked up the name of the mystery waveform in the Minimoog manual. It is the "Sawtooth-Triangular," a sort of weirdly bent Triangle wave.

You can understand the mystery wave from a technical veiwpoint. The Minimoog produces square, sawtooth, and triangle waveforms all at the same time, but you can only select one at a time from the rotary switch. The switch sends a different pulse width control voltage to the square wave circuit when selecting the different square widths. Then you have the saw, and the tri waves. The mystery wave is created by simply combining, or mixing, the saw and tri waves with the selector switch. In any event, it all sounds good.....
